Well, I finally overcame the angst about starting a blog. I still don't quite understand this desire to share with others the musings that migrate through my mind. Maybe it's because blogging allows me to express myself with the possibility that I will actually be heard, unlike at home.
You know how it is with spouses, partners and offspring - the pained expressions on their faces when you begin a discussion. This is different. Here, if somebody doesn't want to know how I feel about something, they don't have to click on the link. I can assume that if they're here, they have at least a tiny bit of interest. And that's a pretty cool feeling.
For those who do click, I will try to make it interesting, relevant and sometimes funny. But having never done this before, it'll take some practice to get it right. So bear with me, as I embark on this journey to becoming a real blogger.
And so I begin.
